Our Story

Elderton State Bank first opened its doors on October 1, 1919, in Elderton, Pennsylvania. From our humble beginnings as a one-person operation, we have grown to over sixty employees, managing more than $420 million in assets and serving customers across twenty Pennsylvania counties. Our growth has been built on a foundation of dedicated employees who provide personal attention to each individual customer and a strong commitment to the communities we serve.

The Bank’s mission is to create long-term value for our customers, shareholders, employees, and the communities we serve by providing high-quality, personal service. The Board of Directors, management, and employees of Elderton State Bank extend our sincere thanks to those who have made our first 100+ years a success. We look forward to your continued support and trust as we move confidently into our second century.
