Checking Accounts

Business Basic Checking –

A Basic account, for Businesses that like Basic things. A daily balance of $300.00 is required for this account. If balance is not maintained, a $4.00 monthly service charge will apply. Basic has never been so good!

Business Privilege Pak Checking –
A Top-of-the-Line Checking Account for businesses who know good value. This is a membership account with NO Minimum Balance! This membership includes the following benefits and more:

Identity Theft Insurance
Free Checks (1 box per year)
IRA Special Rate

Standard Plan - $7.00 per month
Family Plan - $9.00 per month
If you are age 55 or over, your charge is half price.

Temporary Liquidity Guarantee Program

Elderton State Bank has elected to participate in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all non-interest bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under that Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and seperate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

Since the Bank has not committed to maintain the interest rates of NOW Accounts at or below 0.50%, we do not qualify for coverage under this program. We are, however, covered under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
